The “Digitalbonus.Niedersachsen-innovativ” funding program supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Lower Saxony from 25.6.2024 with investments in innovative projects for the introduction or improvement of hardware and software as well as IT security. With this program, the state of Lower Saxony aims to accelerate the digital transformation in SMEs in order to leverage value creation potential and increase the competitiveness of companies. As the successor to the successful Digitalbonus, which promoted the first steps towards digitalization in SMEs, the funding programme focuses on projects that demonstrate significant progress in digitalization and innovation
The applicants
- are small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the commercial sector or the skilled trades or freelancers who make investments in the life sciences or eHealth sector.
- have a registered office or a permanent establishment in Lower Saxony
The promotion includes
- a one-off, non-repayable grant of
- up to 35 percent for small companies and
- up to 20 percent for medium-sized companies
- in the amount of at least 3,000 euros and a maximum of 50,000 euros
